HELP PLZ how can i install programs....
hey i am new to linux and i have linux freespire 1.0, and i need help to installing programs i have downloaded msn for linux and everytime i double click it it goes into a web site and then i try to download of that CNR program but i still dont know wat i am doing plz help me

This isn't Windows. Please remember that you dont have to download virus and/or spyware infected software to get what you want done.
Install the CNR stuff (CNR=click-n-run) and it's the package management system used by linspire. Once it's in place, you can select what software you want from a list and install/run whatever you like without license restrictions.

My advice to you is read, read, read! Apart from your distribution guide, there are HOWTOs on this site covering all sorts of topics and there are often very good books about Linux in public libraries. The more you learn about the way Linux works, the less helpless you will feel. Learning is half the fun of Linux. And asking for help is easier and more productive when you have a specific problem but know enough generally to be able to solve it if someone gives you a clue.
