    HELP! Can't open KDE

    Hi, I'm fairly new to Linux (using Mandriva 10), and while attempting to change my screen resolution, I logged out and clicked the "Restart X Server" button, and now I am stuck on a black screen and can't get back to KDE! Help!

    press Ctrl+Alt+F1. this will drop you on command line login prompt. login as root.

    Code:
    nano /etc/X11/xorg.conf
    changes resolution ( Modes )

    execute command 'startx' after editing xorg.conf file.
