Changing screen resolution
Hi,
I have 3 versions of Linux installed and 2 of them get all fuzzy and messed up once I try and change the screen resolution on them.
In Ubuntu I typed in some command in the command line to get extra resolutions and if I type:
where n is the number I want to change my resolution, it works great.xrandr -s n
But in Morphix, I did not know a command to type in the command line to add screen resolutions so I manually edited the XFConfig file and the screen resolution always works when I boot up but if I try and change it back (using: xrandr -s n) to a different resolution, the screen goes all fuzzy and messed up.
The same thing happens in Knoppix, except I did not edit the XFConfig file yet and it still screws up.
I have the 3 of them installed in vmWare on the same PC.
Any help would be greatly appreciated,
Thanks.
