    Help on a decision

Hi im new to linux, reverting from windows because windows is getting on my nerves and i want to try something new

The three version my friend said to get are Ubuntu, freespire, and SuSe

Now, im a gamer/msn user, but i also do alot off GFX design and coding, so linux seems to be the #1 option for an O/S

So im curious which version i should get, i ofcourse want the most graphicly designed version and customisable one, but ofcourse the best most user friendly desktop version that will also run well with wireless network cards and windows applications

any advice? im also curious which one runs best with windows applications such as msn messenger

    MSN Messenger?

You can do all that stuff and more in any of the distros you mentioned, there are several IM clients and most will connect to msn, if you feel you must use it. If you like Windows look and feel, go for Freespire, otherwise pick one of the other two, and dont be afraid to experiment - they're all free to download and use.
