    Which Linux distro to use

    hi
I am thinking of installing Linux onto my pc. I normally use my pc for surfing the net and downloads. which distro gives me hasle free connection to adsl.
a few months back i installed Redhat but was unable to connect to the DSL, i tried a lot of options that people gave me, but was still unable to get connected. I'd like to use a version which has a DSL dialer integrated (The redhat didnt have one). i use a PPPoE connection and would like to connect to the net manually.

    Thanx
    Suj

You're about to start a war... I hope you brought a tin hat.

It doesn't really matter which distro you use, if you can find a application to do what you want you should be able to install it.

Oh, and for the record, ADSL doesn't need a dialer. ADSL is always-on, so you just plug up and go. This is probably why you couldn't find a dialer with RedHat, but then RedHat 9 (the last release of plain old RedHat) is now seven years old. A lot has changed in seven years.
