    Requireing dependancy!

This is the situation. I have been running Linux for the last 2-3 months now. My dad loves it but since he does PCB designing and sketches he needs something like cad for his electronic boards. He usually uses ARES cadpack on windoze. I managed to make this work for him on Linux with Wine.

However, I have PCLinuxOS and I downloaded a similar program called KICAD. It has 3D OpenGL support as well which astounds me..in fact, it's much better than the windows equivalent my dad has at the moment. So I downloaded the 78MB file and Synaptic automatically downloaded/upgraded some dependancies but when I try running it I get this.

    [user@localhost ~]$ kicad
kicad: /usr/lib/libwx_gtk2_core-2.6.so.0: version `WX_2.6.2' not found (required by kicad)
I can't find that in the repositories...Where can I find it please I need it ! Help is greatly appreciated..

I found an RPM package by that name: http://rpmfind.net/linux/rpm2html/se....so.0(WX_2.6.2)

Thank you, but that link does not provide a download link... hrmz, or maybe I'm totally missing it but I can't find it. I tried clicking on the mirrors but it is as if it is only refreshing the page.
