Confused about kernel updates
When I installed RHEL 4 I did it from the distribution CDs. That would be the initial release. Now I am updating the kernel (and several other packages). Does this update get me to RHEL 4 Update 4? Or, do I have to do a full install again from the RHEL 4 Update 4 iso images?
Also, other than grub.conf is there a way for me to know which kernel was used for the boot?
Thanks,
Michael Cunningham
