    Optimise Scrolling?

    Hello!

I am using Fedora Core 5 running GNOME.

I notice that when I scroll programs (eg while browsing on firefox), it is not as smooth as other OS, such as Windows or OSX.

Is there any way to improve this?

    Thanks!

it might be a graphics problem or check mouse acceleration etc. in System ---> Prefrences --> Mouse.

It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

...or Xorg might be slow. What's your hardware? If you've got a pretty new computer and it doesn't scroll smoothly, there's definitely a problem somewhere.

The last couple of times I've installed Firefox 1.5.0.x it's not turned on 'smooth scrolling' by default. Maybe yours is turned off too?
