    General drivers question

I'm running PCLinuxOS and it detects all my hardware perfectly. Does this mean I don't need to get additional drivers or is it only stating what I have. I have already installed nVidia graphics drivers and they work. What about the chipset, motherboard etc. Sound and everything work.

Intel 775 chipset. 3Ghz. nVidia 6600GT and MSI Neo Platinum 925x motherboard.

yes. you dont need additional drivers. Linux has inbuilt support for most of the hardware parts.

It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
