Can U use torrents in linux, my uncles says his girlfrinds son uses linux and torrents. I get the impression that my uTorrent is useless, but there are probably other torrent trackers for linux, can any torrent I have now be used in linux too, or does linux have different torrents, ex I download an MP3, will it work the same whehter I use uTorrent or Linux torrent?
Also if I download an EXE, can I send it to windows to run??

If you download an mp3 via Windows or Linux it's all the same. It will work on both operating systems given your Linux has the mp3 codec installed. If you download a .exe with Linux you can transfer it to Windows and it will work. exe's DON'T work on Linux however unless you use Wine/CrossOver Office.
Also, Linux has many torrent clients. You get BitTorrent for Linux, KTorrent and others which work in through the terminal as well.

http://www.codeweavers.com/ You can get 60 day trials for bot Mac & Linux. Thereafter you have to buy it I believe. Note though that this does not work with ALL windows software but is suitable for most common software such as Photoshop etc. To play windows games on Linux you'd prpbably like to try Cedega Transgaming. http://transgaming.org/

Here is a list of free Linux BitTorrent clients.
Regarding .exe files, you can pay for Cedega for games or Crossover Office for general purpose apps and some games, but you can also run Wine for free and get many of the same apps to work. Wine's homepage contains an application database that documents the experiences of users for various apps. It's a good place to check so you know how well your program will work.

The tracker is the same for windows and linux

Correct. Many .exe's will work, but there is a chance that particular one may have problems. I doesn't hurt to try it out and see.

I'll either use WINE of a linux subsitiute app... So here's wat I can do:
Use a linux browser [ex. opera] to goto torent sites, and use an app like kTorrent to reveive the files, or I could get the torretns un linux and goto uTorrent in windows, so get the torrents in windows and use kTorrent its all the same, like opening a website on mac or windows, you still can check email the same [there are some differences, even withing windows, ex older IEs may not be compatible w/ vertain features...]
