No Internet Connection

Hi, my internet connection isn't recognized in FC6, but it is however recognized in Windows XP.

When im booting up FC6 and it is listing all of the commands that are running all of them EXCEPT the ethernet connections say [OK].

Maybe someone has the answer to this?

We will need a few extra details before we can help you. First of all, what kind of connection to the internet do you have? Next, do you know what kind of network card it is, and is the IP set manually or by DHCP?

Finally, can you run the following commands (as root if you have any problems) and paste the output into this thread so we can see what your distribution is picking up by itself.

ifconfig -a
route
cat /etc/resolv.conf

Once we have that we can take a stab at fixing up your connection.
