    4 buttons in the middle of the menu bar


    What are the 4 buttons in the middle of the menu bar at the bottom middle used for? They are numbered 1,2,3,& 4. When you press then your desktop goes blank.

    They are other desktops. You have four desktops, when your primary one is full of running applications you can easily switch to your secondary, third or fourth desktop to get a clear space to work on

    you can use different Wallpaper for each Desktop and increase or decrease the number of Desktops.
    Right-click anywhere on desktop and click on 'Configure Desktop' -- Multiple Desktops
