    Limewire...

ok, well...after switching back to pclos, it appears that the newer version comeswith frostwire instead of limewire. when i had limewire, itwould actually work, but for some reason frostwire doesnt want to connect. now, on the limewire website, they have the RPM, but how do i utilize that? do i have to run it in a terminal or with a program? and what would thecommands be if it was? thanks for the help.

I believe in PCLOS you can simply click the file, a package manager called "KPackage" should pop up and from there you can choose to install Limewire and tell it to look for missing dependancies in the process...

Have you made sure the relevent ports are open in your firewall to allow frostwire to run? I wouldn't have much trust in limewire, my only encounters with it have been to clean spyware from Windows machines.

uhh, nope, frostwire still doesnt work. and theres no program called KPackage either...at least not that the computer knows of. when i double click the file it asks me what i want to open it with, which 99 percent of the time means the file cant be read or opened.
