Linux running on Windows & USB Drive
Hello,
I am looking for a version of Linux that can do these two things:
1) Run inside of Windows. (Can be a emulator or something)
2) Run off of a USB Drive
I need a version of Linux like this so that I can take my USB Drive around to my Windows PCs and keep my important files in Linux.
Anyone know a type of Linux that does this?

You can use Damn Small Linux of a USB, but you need a computer new enough to be able to boot from a USB.

It does boot off a USB, but I would like it to run inside of Windows, so I don't have to reboot the PC. Is there any emulators that can do this?

You could run Linux as a Virtual Machine. This uses half of your RAM memory, so you would need about 512Mb minimum.
Watch "How to avoid viruses by using free software to create a virtual machine" at http://video.google.co.uk/videoplay?...irtual+machine
By using a virtual machine you can fully run Linux within Windows without "installing" Linux seperately
