I need some help, How to boot Knoppix if I don't have an ISO?
Ok well it may sound strange, but I have Knoppix on a DVD with several other distros such as Zenwalk, PC-BSD, Minix, Mepis etc. I can boot into any of them, but there is not an ISO for Knoppix. The reason I want an ISO is so that I can burn it to CD for my dad's laptop because it doesn't have a DVD drive...
Question one is: Is there a way to convert all the files into a ISO from the DVD ?
Question two: Will Knoppix (version 5) run fine on my dad's Pentium II 365Mhz PC with 192MB of RAM?
Question three: If there is no way of having this done, will PCLinuxOS run on it or should I rather go for something such as DSL or Puppy ?
Question four: I know I can run my dad's electronic designing application from windoze on PCLinuxOS via CrossOver, will I be able to do the same with DSL/Puppy, because his laptop doesn't have an internet connection for the dependencies...
Question five: I doubt it but just making sure, if my dad were to have a DVD drive in his laptop, would he be able to run modern big distros such as Ubuntu 6.06 and/or SuSE 10.1 or 9.3 ?
Thanks in advance for any help you guys can give
