    Switching Kernel 2.6 to 2.4 - How to?

    Anyone can expain me how to do this?
    help plz :X

    install the 2.4 source tree, change the /usr/src/linux symlink to point to the new source tree under /usr/src, recompile, install the new kernel to /boot and make modules modules_install to build the modules. after that, edit your lilo.conf or grub.conf to put the newly compiled kernel in your boot menu, reboot. select the 2.4 kernel.
    Their code will be beautiful, even if their desks are buried in 3 feet of crap. - esr
