    A headless server can have any Linux distro as long as you have some version of VNC installed. It's also a very good idea to have ssh installed and ssh server running on this machine with port 22 open to it. That way, if the Vncserver ever goes down, you can ssh into the machine and start it again.

    so ssh is like telnet????
    SSH is way more secure than telnet, it encrypts everything.
    and which linux os should i use for hosting servers????? and thanx for the help....
    Get something stable like Debian or CentOS (free RHEL)
