new to linux - audio issues
I am new to Linux, and am trying out various distros. I have both Ubuntu and PCLinuxOS on my drive. I am having sound issues in both. In both distros, my sound card is recognized and when playing audio on any media player, the sound comes through fine. However, no website audio works. MySpace, Purevolume, YouTube... no audio. On YouTube, I can see the videos, but not hear anything.
I'm not sure what information is useful in troubleshooting this problem, but any help is welcome.
Thanks.

The current Flash Player 7 for Linux sucks, get the beta http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/flashplayer9.html
IMO it is a lot more stable than 7Put your hand in an oven for a minute and it will be like an hour, sit beside a beautiful woman for an hour and it will be like a minute, that is relativity. --Albert Einstein
