Ultra Noob: Trying to mount NTFS RAID array
Here's the scoop. I had been using an old WinXP box as a home file server. I decided that Linux would be a better option, and so here we go. I downloaded and installed a copy of Fedora Core 6 and the installation (yes, even the video card) went surprisingly well. The system has a 20Gb drive with the linux system, and a hardware RAID card that controls two 40Gbs (for now) in RAID 1.
My question is: how do I get the system drive to see the raid array and allow others on the network to access it. I'm assuming that Samba (installed) is a key player here, but the mounting is my primary problem. During boot up, the two drives are mentioned. I even got drivers from the manufacturer, but don't know how to run the script.
Please, help a noob today, you'll feel better tomorrow!
