Your 2 cents on Cent OS

Hello i'm new to Linux and decided to subscribe to this forum for the sure to come questions I will have. I am currently going to be working with CentOs and didn't see a topic for this in the above Distro section. So I was wondering if there were any CentOS users here and if they could just give me there two cents on the OS as a whole.

You can post questions about CentOS in the Redhat forum since its essentially a rebuild of Redhat Enterprise Linux. I think its a very good OS and use it on one of my workstations and on an internal server.

I tried it, it's quite nice but as I'm still quite new to Linux I am sticking with something a little easier for the moment However I will try out CentOS again...

Okay, i'm enjoying it so far and am finding it to be pretty well documented and not too hard to pick up. Only placeb0 seems to dislike it so far but i'd like to know more of why other then it's 'bloatware' :P

I believe it was a good decision for someone diving head first into the world of linux. I've read up a bit on the OS and it seems to be quite well liked with little griping. Perhaps someone else will post a reason for me to be scared?

Playing with linux makes me feel smart
