    upgrading

I was wondering. lets say I have suse 9.3. I have been hearing about 10.2 and have been thinking about the upgrage to it. Do I need to download 10.2 and install it over my 9.3 or can I just go to yast and get all the updates for 9.3. Will this bring me to the equivalent of 10.2?

The reason I am asking is, it seems like a pain to have to reinstall my OS every 6 months. Is this neccesary or do you just stick with one until you build a new computer?

    thanks

You do not have to upgrade your OS every 6 months just because there is a new release. As for upgrading, you would need to get the Suse 10.2 disks and select to do an upgrade to your 9.3 system of do a clean install.
