    Dsl screen colour issues

I installed dsl to my hdd the other day, but the screen is yelow, or at least the wrong colour, if you need a picture I'll take one. It's on my laptop by the way.
But the screen does function properly, its dsl that has made it yellow.
So I looked into booting using cheatcodes and I edited menu.lst to include the vga={784} for 15-bit 640x480 screen. But yet the problem still persists. Any other was of fixing this?
When it boots it says something about an illegal request and xsetup.sh (or a similar word), hope that helps.

    What type of laptop?
    what version of dsl?
do you know what type of video card it is?
This might help someone figure out the problem.

here are a couple of websites I thought might help.

    http://www.damnsmalllinux.org/wiki/index.php/Xsetup.sh
    http://www.damnsmalllinux.org/wiki/i...hp/Cheat_Codes

noicons might be the cheatcode you need.
