Well where do I start?

I installed JRE exactly how the website says I must. All worked fine I even tested my java through Firefox and it said I had the latest version installed. When I went to http://www.mpowerplayer.com and downloaded that little java app it worked fine...Now I was offline for 2 days and I come back to see that normal java applets in my browser works but when I click that link it tells me: "Java needs to be updated to run Mpowerplayer".

Now I tried activating Java again and I did everything, it works for applets but not that app. It's really giving me the most grief I've had since I switched to Linux a few months ago.

What do I do, please help I feel I can smash my head against the keyboard!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
