is it a problem to share one /home dir with many distros installed?

I would like to have all these distros installed on my computer sharing single '/home' partition, and sharing a single swap partition. I would also be using kde in some distros and gnome in others. I enjoy suse mostly (it caused the LEAST amount of trouble for me) but I would also like to run ubuntu, debian, knoppix, puppy, suse, fedora, mandriva, xandros ...

Would there be significant problems sharing a single '/home' partition? Technically should it work without a problem? Does any one have any experience with this?
