    Unhappy file sharing

    hi....friends

    i have a problem ..i have two OS runing on my PC win xp n ubuntu linux so i want to share some of the files between windows an d linux so that i can copy some files to n fro can any one help me with this problem .......

    If you are using the same PC you'll need a FAT partition on your hard drive. There are a number of partitioning programs available to change your partitioning, but be careful! (I haven't used any so I can't recommend one) If you are tight for space an external hard drive could be the answer.

    If you were running on two separate PCs:

    But I don't believe that is the case.

    Resize and Create FAT32 Partition Using QtParted or GParted

    Hi sureshkumaraec,
    You can resize your Windows partition and create a FAT32 partition in it, if you do not have it already, which can be used for sharing files with Ubuntu easily. For resizing and creating partitions, you can use either QtParted in SystemRescueCD or Gparted Live CDs.
