installing RedHat linux in SATA hdd

    Hi everybody

i'm a new linux user. We just gor our redhat enterprise linux ES V4.0 and I'm suppose to install it.

We have a ASUS motherbord computer with SATA hard disk

When i try installing linux..it say no hard drive found, you probably need to manually choose device drivers. I don't what to do? I looked arround but couldn't figure it out.

Can anyone please help me out
    Thanks in advance

I have given up trying to install RHEL in SATA drver

I added an IDE hard drive and installing RH

Once i passed the initial stage RHEL recognised the SATA driver.

    Thanks

The solution here would be to use 'linux expert' at the grub bootup prompt from the install CD. It instructs the installer to load extra drivers, and can usually get your sata disk recognised.

But you have found another way around the issue, so I'll shut up now.
