New to linux, want to install on PDA.

Hello. I have never even downloaded linux, but i would like to install it on my PDA. Is this possible? Would there be any restrictions on a pda running linux compared to a desktop running linux?

    Thanks!

it is possible and i have heard of people installing the linux kernel on pda's
if i remember rightly there was a commercial linux based PDA released a few years back.
obviously they dont have the same resources or processing power as a pc so its not going to do everything you need it to, but to be honest unless your really unhappy with the default OS on your pda, i cant imagine you'll benefit from it.
heres a link to get started with:
