    Help with Terminal and Gnome

Firstly, is there a way (easy way if possible) to make a shortcut to for example open my home directory with Gnome with WIN+E button, I managed to do this with KDE long ago but I'm not such a big fan of KDE anymore.

Second question is a simple one I think. How do I rename a file via the terminal ?

System -- Preferences -- Keyboard ShortCuts. select Home Folder from List and assign any combination.

    Code:
    mv <old_name> <new_name>
    man mv
