    its brill and as a newbee i think its awsome to start with

    i got hold of knoppix 4 live dvd and ran it and well what can i say its brilliant it's the sort of os that is needed when 'converting' to linux it fills the gap between windows usage to linux usage

    the knoppix 4 live distro is brill is come with over 5,200 linux applications for everyones needs and is brill to look at and use

    just my thought

    Glad you're enjoying it. It seems all the major distros have really gone up a gear. Fedora 6 is head-and-shoulders ahead of Fedora 5, there is a new spectacular version of Ubuntu kicking around, too. It's almost as though a major competitor was about to release a new version of some other OS. Can think of anyone who might though.

    PS, if you like Knoppix, you might like KnoppMyth even more - its a full on media centre edition. Aparrently there are other media centre editions of other operating systems, but be careful here; I've not heard of any others that are stable or secure. The only reason I dont use KnoppMyth is because it wouldn't store my digital TV channels. Pretty sure that'll be fixed before too long though.
