I have a problem with framebuffer for console. I am using Linux SuSE 2.6.16.13-4.
in kernel configuration file there is line like this:
CONFIG_FRAMEBUFFER_CONSOLE=y
but in /dev directory there ...

Linux fbcon problem
Hello!
I have a problem with framebuffer for console. I am using Linux SuSE 2.6.16.13-4.
in kernel configuration file there is line like this:
CONFIG_FRAMEBUFFER_CONSOLE=y
but in /dev directory there is no fbcon or any other fb device. should it be there? (programs that use fbcon don't work)
