    Unhappy Noob Question on ADSL Connection

    I'm really new to linux and i just installed linux fedora 5 on a pc that also has windows xp on it...and it had an adsl connection working on it...but the thing is i cant connect to internet using linux...i have a sppedtouch 500 modem attached to a switch to which my other two pcs are connected to...i dont know if u install a wizard or utility that configures ur connection and im really lost ...please help...

    The Speedtouch ADSL modem seems to be a very popular problem for people. I did a search in the forum for Speedtouch and came up with several threads.

    Red face I need to know what to do before that

    i just dont know what to do before that, i tried to use kppp but i didnt know what to do with it...can you please tell me what are the steps and what should i do to configure my connection...
