I need linux pretty bad but cant intall it from a CD cause my CD drive is broken.

Well, do you have a floppy drive or usb storage device?

You can use DSL (damn small linux) and boot that from a USB drive.

You can even install Ubuntu (Edgy). Check out the instructions on my blog :
