Hello,

My hosting company has just upgraded my account with MySQL 4.1 Problem is my sites now crash as my scripted sql searches of the database don't work. It appears to have something to do with the new collation features of 4.1All my sql instructions are having to be converted from
'latin1_swedish_ci' to '_utf8'

This is progress? I've obviously e-mailed my hosting company but they're not normally very good with questions like this, so I was hoping someone here might know the answer before I ask to go back to the latest version of MySQL
