Slackware is pretty much a basic distro as Linux goes, but you can take a look at the link in my signature for lots of info about Linux and getting started with it.

where can i get Slackware and will it run on a 10gig drive with 64mb ram and i think it like 16mb or 32mb video card ? its an old comp

I've had Slackware 10.2 running on a 100Mhz processor, 32 MB RAM, and 2GB HDD, so I doubt you'll have problems there.
