KNOPPIX 5.1.1 or PCLinuxOS 2007 for me?

Hi. I am a complete linux newb, but I have been researching it for about 3 months.
I have narrowed down my choices to KNOPPIX 5.1.1 or PCLinuxOS 2007 beta 1.

My test computer is a Dell Inspiron Desktop with a Pentium 3 1.8ghz processor, 512mb or system RAM, and a Nvidia card with 64mb of RAM.

I have quite a bit of OSX knowledge (which is Unix based) and a good amount of Windows XP and 2000 knowledge.

Which one do you guys think is for me?

The truth of the matter is, nobody here can tell you which one is best for you.

Everyone has their own likes and dislikes concerning distros and in the end, they decide for themselves what's best for them. PCLinuxOS never seems to work properly on my machines whereas Knoppix does, but it might be just the opposite with another user.

That said, you'll need to try each one and decide for yourself which one you like best and what works on your own machine.
