2.) I have a Intel Pro/wireless 2200BG Network card on my laptop. After trying to activate it I get this message ---- Info:

The required files can also be installed from this URL:

First of all, how can I check wich version wireless driver iam running? How can I fix this problem so I can use my wireless connection ?
I Hope I can get quick respons for my questions.

The easiest solution in the long run would be to set your repositories right, so that you can access more packages (programs) directly with the Add/Remove Programs utility. More info here :

Do you have a on/off switch (or button) for the wireless ? Perhaps it is off ?
A bit more info about that here."To express yourself in freedom, you must die to everything of yesterday. From the 'old', you derive security; from the 'new', you gain the flow."
