    live cd question

    HI im fairly new to linux (i had one course college on it and enjoyed it quite a bit) but im having an problem. I decided to go with the live cd route, when i insert the live cd into my cdrom drive and reboot my computer it loads dr-dos and does a bunch of checks after this it sits in a command prompt. what do i do from here

    Welcome to the LinuxForums.

    you have burned .iso image incorrectly.
    you have selected 'create Bootable Disc' option and CD Burner has installed DR. Dos in CD to make it bootable.
    .iso images are bootable by default. select 'Burn Image to Disk' option.

    thank you so very much for your prompt reply. i figured the reason it wasnt working was my own error but i had no idea what my error was.
