    What is the best distribution of Linux if you really want ALOT of really good 3D graphics. ie desktop cube ect.

    It depends on your taste. Maybe you should try out some easy to configure distro's first OpenSuSE is good for new users and it's really easy to configure. Just try out some distro's first like Kubuntu, Debian (I prefer Debian).

    All Linux distributions are capable of running 3D applications and desktops. There is no hands-down "best". Try one of the top 10 on DistroWatch; most of them come with XGL, compiz or AIGLX, which will let you have 3D desktop effects.

    3D relies less on the distribution you have and more on your video hardware. If you have an ATI card, give up now. ATI's Linux drivers are horrible. If you have an Nvidia card however you should be able to get things working relatively easily.
