need help choosing best distro.
hey everyone. im new to linux and decided to get away from windows but i need help choosing which distro! there is so many different versions of linux out there and need somone to help decide which one i should get. which is the best? ill post my interest here if somone needs them.

The best distro for you is one that you like best.
The fact of the matter is, nobody here can tell you which one you'll like best, so you'll have to experiment with some different distributions to make up your own mind. Have a look at the link in my signature for lots of help on getting started with Linux. Once you decide on a few distributions to try, start a new thread if you should run into any problems.
