    remote desktop

    Hey all, Im totally new to linux. I wanted to know if someone can help me with remote desktop. I want to go from my laptop (ubuntu) to my desktop (XP). I opened terminal server client, typed in the computer name, but i keep getting an error. The desktop allready has VNC installed.

    Try using the IP address
    Your XP machine may not be in the /etc/hosts file yet
    I use rdesktop xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx -g 1200x1024
