I have coded a PHP image gallery that uses the gamma correction function to adjust the image gamma to 1.8 for mac users and 2.2 for PC's. I find it usefull otherwise my images would be slightly washed out on the macs since I adjust my images on a PC with WinXP.

My question is does Linux also have its own gamma settings for images? I assume it is the same as WinXP with a gamma of 2.2. Any information would be great, thanks.
