    fixing unmatching md5 checksum?

    Hi everyone,

I downloaded Freespire and Ubuntu iso files but noticed that for both the files, the checksum were different from that of the original.

Is there a way to repair or fix the downloaded files so their checksums would match their respective original checksums (instead of having to download the files again)?

    Regards.

its not possible to fix corrupted image. i suggest you to burn image to disk at lowest possible speed and check if it boots up.
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
