SSH/User Permissions

I've recently setup DSL (damn small linux) on an old pc of mine. All I want it for is a simple server where I can back up my files too. I've had some experience with linux (tried Fedora core 3&4), and some experience with ssh. My lack of skills falls under file permissions and everything above . I'm surprised though, I did manage to get my wireless card up and working with it, and solve most of the dns problem. Anyways, I have 3 users - root, dsl, and booooze. I want to login through an ssh from my windows computer using the account booooze. Right now, all i can do is login with dsl. SSH is working, but something is wrong with the user setups. I've been using this page as a reference. I've got the user added, and have a home directory. It has the same permissions as the dsl home folder, and the owner is booooze. I can connect to SSH, with account booooze, right up to the point where it asks for my password and then it doesn't work. And the password is correct. Is there some way I can view the setup for all users, and see what I'm missing? Or is there some setting I have to change to allow remote login with the new account? Anyways, any help greatly appreciated. Thanks a lot!

Nevermind, I solved it.

For anyone who needs the solution, I found that once you've created the user, go back and change the password through root again. Seems to work, and also make sure you have permissions for the home directory, that might have something to do with it. All the commands I used were on the page I linked, if that is any help. Thanks.
