RPM Package Installation - Missing Icon

After installing a package in /home, using RPM, how do you create an icon on the desktop to launch the program ??

I installed the SeaMonkey browser in PCLinuxOS, BUT I now have to click on the Home icon, then the Sea Monkey folder to open a window with the "Start Sea Monkey" button on it. I really need a desktop icon !!

Right click on your desktop and select link to application. The in the properties specify the the path of seamonkey (/home/name/...start seamonkey)

    valemon,

    Thanks for response.

Tried "Link to Application" with four tabs
General, Permission, Application, Preview but the Application tab had two windows "Command" & "Work Path" that I didn't know how to fill out.

I ended up dragging the seamonkey file onto desktop and using "Link Here".
I'm now down to "two click" operation, I click on file icon and window with "Start Seamonkey" button appears

This is still a long way from "Plug-n-Play" !!!!

You should copy in the command box the directory of the executable with the name of the executable.
    ex: /home/yourname/apliccationfolder/executable

    PS
Here is a png icon in order to look good

    Valemon,

Thanks for the icon offer, I already have a full set.

    seamonkey > chrome > icons > default

They are labeled "default.xpm" I just can't "activate" them !!!
