    What do you mean by that? I guess if you want to dual boot you have to install linux as a "second" OS because you windowz won't boot.

    No, you don't need to install it after 30 GB, you can install it anywhere but if you want to dual boot, Windows is better on the first primary partition.
    Linux just doesn't care about where it is installed
