Verify sha1/md5 sum for linux iso?
I downloaded Knoppix and it doesn't seem to be booting or recognized (as in readable) when put into a cd drive in a running OS. I still have the iso, so how can I preform a checksum on the iso to verify it against the md5 or sha1 sums? (Preferably Windows, as that's where I have the iso right now.)

install this package in Windows and verify md5sum.
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
