    Hi blah123,

    Welcome to the LinuxForums.

which Linux distro do you have? open Terminal/Konsole ( search in Menu ) and execute this
    Code:
    cd Desktop
    su -
    rpm -ivh <flash_rpm_name>
if you have Debian based distro then rpm will not work and you have to download .deb format of adobe flash player.
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

I double click on the rpm downloaded on my desktop and it installs perfectly and successfully, but I cant seem to activate it on firefox. But yet its still installed because I can see iti nside the add/remove programs list. How do I activate it?
