linux recommendation?
I just got a compaq armada e500 with a 700 mhz pentium III,128mb ram,12gb hard drive and ati rage agp 2x graphics card.is there any linux distro i can install on it that you think would run decently on it because i cant find anything
Things like fedora,gentoo,ubuntu or anything big like that wont install.
i want something slightly bigger than say,dsl,preferably around the size of slax,that installs to the hdd and acts as it should,unlike slax,which can install to hdd but still acts as if from cd,IE cant install stuff and save,etc.
I just want something that has general support,easy to install and works and is minimal.

try Xubuntu an Ubuntu based distro disighned to run on older systems
