Doing well but Fedora hangs halfway through startup
After partitioning drives, installing Fedora and configuring a dual-boot I finally got round to selecting Fedora from the GRUB boot loader and watched as it started environment.
Unfortunately it hangs due to a problem with the cpuspeed.conf file i think. I get a load of green OKs aswell so everything else is good!
I have been googling for most of the day and have seen various posts stating the need to edit the above file to point to a driver for my P4 processor.
All this is slowly making sense but because I am such a newb to Linux I have no idea how to even get a prompt from which to work from just to see files let alone edit them. If its hanging then I need to edit the files before loading but from the GRUB command line I don't know what I am doing.
Can anyone help me so I can edit this file and start learning more about Linux with a working install!
Thanks
