    finally free!

I installed PCLinuxOS a couple days ago and wow

After using Vista for a couple weeks, PCLinuxOS beats Vista in every way. I did have some trouble with the video card drivers and using the 3D Desktop effects, but after getting the kinks fixed, I don't know if I can ever go back to using Vista on a daily basis.

I do a lot of web/graphic design though, so does anyone know if there is a way to run Creative Suite CS3 on Linux? I've heard of Whine, but I don't think its been completely successful with any of the Creative Suites. I would like to get rid of my Windows partition, but I absolutely must have Creative Suite

Also, if anyone has any suggestions on how to make the most PCLinuxOS, that would be awesome.

you could try running it through wine, but I would try looking for a linux program that does the same thing. I can't think of any off the top of my head, but a quick google search could help you out

you can run Photoshop 7 on wine without any configuration whatsoever, if that helps. Probably you might get some old versions running. Also, have a look at Cedega (you can get it free by compiling their CVS)
